Fall…what a lovely time of year.  Make sure that you can enjoy this beautiful season by keeping yourself healthy.

We in the United States have enjoyed many blessings but during the last decade or two our health has seemed to be on a down hill slide.  Arthritis, bone and joint problems, diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, heart problems, and cancer have all been on the rise.

There’s no conclusive evidence as to what has caused our modern day dilemma but many probable causes.  To be very simple, one could say that fruits and vegetables and exercise would solve a multitude of health problems but there are other contributing factors.

The food that we eat:  Much could be said about lack of nutrients, pesticides, growth hormones, and additives in convenient foods.  Too many people think, If I can’t see it or I don’t see an immediate reaction, then I don’t have to worry about it.  That way of thinking parallels credit cards…enjoy today, pay tomorrow and we see what kind of mess that has created.

An alternative may be to grow our own food and learn how to preserve it.  When at all possible, eat organic foods, grass fed beef, range fed chickens and the eggs they produce, wild game and wild salmon.  Wash all fruits and vegetables from the supermarket with a trusted and safe solution.  And it’s a given, you should supplement your diet with the best vitamins and antioxidants you can fine.  Not all vitamins are equal and some could cause more damage than good.  Do your research.  I can help with that.

The air that we breath can be controlled somewhat by having green plants in the home. These green plants provide extra oxygen during the day; however, do not have green plants in your sleeping area as they have adverse effects  at night.  Avoid all known irritants that produce unwanted results that effect  your breathing.

The harsh chemicals in everyday products can be causing untold damage to our health.  Unfortunately, labeling laws in the United States only require a product’s label   to show if it will cause damage to the eyes or if it is flammable.   Possible carcinogens do not have to be listed nor that breathing problems may occur.  Governing agencies say that the chemicals involved are within acceptable safety limits.  No studies have been done to see how long term exposure would effect the human body but again, our health has been on a down hill slide for some time now.

There are safer and better alternatives to products on the grocer’s shelf.  I can help you to find those products.
